A Case of Child Autopsy With The Suspicion of Sexual Abuse and Murder

A possible incorrect evaluation may cause a hard condition which is non-compensable for the patient, his/her family and the society. Four years old boy autopsy case of alleged rapes and his throat slit was investigated in this study. He was founded as stripped trousers and wounded in his throat and arm by his grandfather. Anal examination was performed macroscopically by toluidine blue and naked eye. Anal tissue samples were taken for the pathological examination. As a result of autopsy and crime scene investigation, we determined that the wounds on the neck were compatible with pintles on the studded board. Besides the anal examination had shown that there wasn't any sign by toluidine blue test and the macroscopichistopathologic examination. In this study the importance of the postmortem anogenital examination techniques, evaluation of the signs and crime scene investigation is emphasized.
