A Case of an Ectopic Parathyroid Adenoma With a Concomitant 99mTc-sestamibi-avid Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma

Abstract: Background: The evaluation and management of parathyroid adenomas have improved over the years. Localization of parathyroid adenomas in patients with primary hyperparathyroidism was simplified with the use of 99mTc-sestamibi scintigraphy.
