A bumpless transfer piecewise filtering approach for fault detection of switched linear systems

Abstract: This study focuses on bumpless transfer (BT) fault detection in switched linear systems operating under mode‐dependent average dwell time (MDADT) switching. We propose a piecewise fault detection filter (FDF) inspired by the segmentation concept inherent in the multiple discontinuous Lyapunov function (MDLF) approach.
