Abstract:Background: Honey, ghee, Glycyrrhiza glabra L. (GG), and Nerium indicum Mill. (NI) have been effectively used in Ayurveda and Indian folk medicine for healing both normal and diabetic wounds. However, the exact biochemical and molecular mechanisms involved are less discussed.
