A behaviorally anchored assessment tool for bedside teaching in the emergency department

Abstract: Evaluating a resident's development as a bedside educator in the emergency department (ED) is challenging. Teaching consults, where trainees are observed and assessed in their teaching skills, have been used to improve bedside teaching.
