Ključne besede: razvoj izdelkov, trženje proizvodov, analitični hierarhični proces, ocena tržnega potenciala, bukovina Abstract: If a company in the wood industry wants to develop and market its products successfully, it has to explore its target market well, especially for products from a specific type of wood -in our case, from beechwood. We designed three models: a model for the assessment of the product development potential, a model for the assessment of marketing of product opportunities, and a model for the assessment of product market potential. The latter was used in the study within the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and gave interesting results. Experts who participated in the survey conducted by the AHP method have estimated that the most important criterion while deciding to purchase beechwood products is quality, the second most important criterion is the price, and the third one is the idea. According to the survey, promotional mix and additional services have a minor impact on customer decisions about buying beechwood products. All three presented models can be a good tool that companies can usefully apply when deciding on developing and marketing a new product.Keywords: product development, product marketing, analytic hierarchy process, assessment of market potential, beech njem trendov, ki razkrivajo prihodnost, lahko sklepamo o možnih posledicah, kar pa pomeni, da odkrivamo priložnosti in nevarnosti, ki jih trend prinaša. Če tržniki trendov ne proučijo, se lahko zgodi, da nov izdelek podjetja ne bo usklajen s trendom, morda bo celo v nasprotju z njim (Oblak, 2012). Če se v nekem trenutku na določenem trgu dobro prodajajo izdelki iz hrastovega lesa, se lahko že v bližnji prihodnosti okus kupcev spremeni in bodo popularni izdelki iz bukovega lesa.Prav tako mora podjetje vedeti, kdo so lahko morebitni kupci njegovih izdelkov, kakšne izdelke porabniki potrebujejo in želijo ter kateri konkurenčni izdelki so že na trgu. Če tega ne ve, ne more uspešno pripraviti in izvajati svojih trženjskih aktivnosti. Globalizacija je te težave še dodatno poglobila.

ResumenSe presenta un método orientado a facilitar la toma de decisiones con equipos de trabajo. Plantea un proceso que permite hacer un análisis sistemático del problema, intercambiar conocimientos y experiencia. Los juicios individuales se representan mediante funciones de utilidad. Una condición de estabilidad permite inferir si el análisis ha sido suficiente, o si debe retomarse. Una vez alcanzada la estabilidad, el método propone el modo de agregar los juicios y ordenar las alternativas de decisión. La metodología propuesta estimula la realización de aportes independientes entre los miembros del grupo y hace posible que los integrantes se identifiquen con la decisión adoptada.Palabras-clave: apoyo multicriterio a la decisión; decisiones multicriterio en grupo; equipos de trabajo; estadística; búsqueda del consenso. AbstractThis article presents a method for facilitating group decision-making. The method is founded on a process that allows a systematic analysis of the problem. It also allows sharing exchanging knowledge and experiences. Individual judgements are represented by utility functions. A stability condition leads to inferring if the analysis has been sufficient or if it must be continued. Once stability is reached, the method proposes one mode for aggregating judgements and for ordering the decision alternatives. The analytical framework embedded in the use of the proponed model stimulates the use of independent approaches among the members of the group. The proponed method also facilitates the identification of the participants with the chosen decision.

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) have a significant and promising role in the overall improvement of transport performances. However, in the absence of a set of key performance indicators (KPI), it is very difficult to evaluate ITS and the effects of their application objectively. Therefore, the first aim of the paper is to develop an appropriate KPIs for assessment of railway ITS and the monitoring of their impacts. Based on that, a tool for the evaluation of the importance of these indicators is proposed. For that purpose a set of twenty-four indicators was grouped by topics under the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainability. The paper thoroughly describes their development and classification. An evaluation of indicators based on expert opinions via the Group Analytic Hierarchy Process (GAHP) method is presented. Results obtained by the GAHP method illustrate the importance or significance of indicators for railway ITS.
