A Basic Study on the Criteria of Immersion Suits for Fishing Vessels Engaged in Coastal and Inshore Fisheries

Abstract: In order to reduce the risk of death from hypothermia for the fishing vessel`s crew at sea, this paper suggests that the criteria of equipment of fishing vessels should be revised for fishing vessels engaged in coastal and inshore fisheries to be equipped with the immersion suit.
