Abstract:Purpose:
This study aimed to describe a novel technique to facilitate intrascleral fixation of the intraocular lens (IOL).
Methods:
Two 27-gauge trocars were placed at an angle of 180° and a distance of 2 mm from the corneal limbus. A silicone microtube with an external diameter of 0.2 mm was introduced through a sclerocorneal incision and withdrawn via a trocar using retinal forceps.
