Abstract: ABSTRACT:Training under hypoxic conditions is known to enhance physical performance. The possible mechanism might be the stabilization of Hypoxia Inducible Factor (HIF), which otherwise is degraded under normoxia by the action of Prolyl Hydroxylase domain enzymes (PHD).
