Abstract: Abstract:To study the influence of local geometric feature on circular plate's sinking performance in the soil, radial and circumferential grooves are added at the bottom of circular plate separately. Smoothed particle hydrodynamics and finite element method(SPH/FEM) are used to simulate the sinking process.
