Abstract: Favipiravir is, an antiviral agent, used to treat diseases caused by RNA viruses like Ebola virus, SARS-CoV-2, Influenza virus, Polio measles etc. The prodrug Favipiravir enters the infected cells through endocytosis and undergo metabolism to become an active drug.
