Abstract: Tomato Spotted Wilt orthotospovirus (TSWV) is a member of the Orthotospovirus genus. It has extensive host and causes serious disease in many crops. In May 2021, virus-like symptoms such as chlorosis, mottling, leaf yellowing and necrosis were observed on Polygonum multiflorum (hereinafter as P. multiflorum) leaves in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.
