Abstract:Lysozyme amyloid formation is studied as model in-vitro system to find out natural or synthetic inhibitors of amyloidosis. Protein aggregation and amyloid formation is the basic reason for many neurodegenerative diseases. Indigenous medicinal plants are great source of therapeutic molecules and drugs.
