Abstract:Type 2 diabetes, which is the most common type, is often a result of excess body weight and physical inactivity in genetically predisposed individuals. Over due course of time diabetes can cause blindness, kidney damage, neurological problems, and coronary artery disease. Improvement in glycemic control is important factors in delaying the onset and progression of diabetes-related complications.
