Abstract

Kin-Pong, a Master's graduate of both Hong Kong Baptist University and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, is currently writing his PhD thesis about the relation between history and literature through close-reading historical fictions both in Japanese and English. His research interests include Asian literatures, historical novels and comparative literature. During his leisure time, he writes poems and fiction in various languages, and translates poems into English. His latest project is to complete a Japanese novel of about three hundred thousand words.
