Abstract: Olmesartan medoxomil, a BCS class II drug, is an angiotensin-II receptor antagonist used for the treatment of hypertension. A liquisolid tablet of Olmesartan medoxomil was developed to improve its dissolution and flow properties. The commonly used carrier Avicel was compared with Neusilin.
