Abstract:Lavana kalpanas are pharmaceutical preparation in which the "Lavana" and the selected "auṣadhadravyā' are igniting together in a closed sampuṭā to obtain the drug ash as medicinal product. Nārikelā lavana, one among the lavana kalpana mentioned in Bhaiṣajyaratnāvali 30 th chapter and in Rasa taraṇgiṇi14 th chapter.
