Abstract

Endowed with beautiful nature and cool weather at the foot of Mount Slamet, Sigedong Village, Bumijawa District can be potentially developed into a tourism village. However, the limited capacity of the villagers of Sigedong Village presents a problem for developing into tourism village. Based on the results of a survey and cooperation carried out by the Community Service of Politeknik Harapan Bersama with partners, homestay training, digital marketing training and establishing local and tourism products are conducted to the community in the village of Sigedong. The methods used observation method, socialization method and discussion method, which numbered 20 participants. Training and counseling were conducted at the house of Pokdarwis's head, on 7-8 February 2020. The training can improve the villager's knowledge and skill on the area, hence it can increase the community income.
