“…Shortly thereafter, the oxygen isotope effect was investigated in underdoped Y123 [23] and in La 2− x Sr x CuO 4 [24]. In the case of high-temperature superconductors, we also showed that oxygen isotopic substitution also affects other properties, such as magnetic penetration depth [25], Néel temperature [26], paramagnetic resonance linewidth EPR [27] and, in a decisive way, the opening temperature of the so-called pseudo-gap [28].
