88. Postoperative Komplikationen: Thrombo-Embolien

Abstract: Summary. Regarding only the fatal pulmonary embolisms proved by autopsy, thromboembolic complications have not decreased since over fifty years.--Their prevention is only possible by an active prophylaxis.--New principles have been tried clinically: subcutaneous heparin and substances reducing platelet function (acetylsalicyelie acid). 51 patients were treated with s.c. heparin (250 IU/kg body weight/12 h), resulting with bleeding complications in 10°/0 .
