Abstract: THE JOURNAL OF UROLOGY®ill has required a repeat repair. Twenty-five ( 42.4%) patients had persistent post-operative urgency, 10 (16.9%) had urge urinary incontinence, 5 (8.5%) had stress urinary incontinence and 1 (1.7%) had de novo urgency.CONCLUSIONS: The traditional anterior repair does not correct the anatomic abnormality in most patients and this is reflected in the high recurrence rates.
