“…In our study, some predictors of adverse perinatal outcomes, including chronic hypertension, 13–18 PIH history, 16,17 PIH, 13,14 and early‐onset FGR, 13–15 and all three simple ultrasound parameters (i.e., EFW < 5th percentile, 19 AFI <5 cm, 15 and abnormal UA Doppler 13,14,16,18–21 ) were consistent with those in previous reports. With regard to PIH history, chronic hypertension, and current pregnancy PIH, the results were expected because these factors were associated with maternal vascular diseases, leading to adverse effects on fetal growth and well‐being due to placental insufficiency.…”

“…This study included pregnancies with an antenatal diagnosis of FGR, defined as an EFW less than the 10th percentile based on sonographic measurements using local growth standards. The inclusion criteria were: (i) singleton pregnancies with accurate gestational age (confirmed by ultrasonography in the first trimester or in the first part of second trimester [14–20 weeks] if dating discrepancy between last menstrual period and ultrasonography was not more than 7 days [14–15 weeks] to 10 days [16–20 weeks]); (ii) gestational age at delivery of 24 weeks or more; (iii) delivery at Songklanagarind Hospital; and (iv) neonatal birth weight confirmed to be small for gestational age (<10th percentile) based on Fenton's growth chart 13 . Pregnancies with missing or incomplete sonographic records and perinatal outcomes, and those with fetal congenital anomalies, abnormal chromosomes, or congenital infection were excluded.…”
