Abstract: Inflammation, insulin resistance (IR) , and deficit of retrograde axonal transport (RAT) are implicated in the pathogenesis of diabetic polyneuropathy (DPN) . Pro-inflammatory macrophage (M1) skewed by diabetic insults causes IR in adipose tissue.
