80‐2: Evaluation of Displays and HMIs for Internet of Things (IoT)

Abstract: We studied low cost Internet of Things (IoT) systems with displays regarding microprocessor (μP) interfaces (parallel or serial). An evaluation was made by comparing status indicators, character and graphics display regarding Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). We also measured and compared displays ambient lighting performance in typical IoT environments.
