Abstract: INTRODUCTION/HYPOTHESIS: Delirium following an acute stroke event is associated with increased morbidity and can lead to longer lengths of hospital stay and increased mortality. These patients may experience additional negative functional outcomes if delirium is not appropriately assessed and managed.
