7 W Diode-End-Pumped PLD-Grown Yb:Lu2O3 Planar Waveguide Laser

Abstract: An Yb:Lu 2 O 3 planar waveguide laser fabricated by pulsed laser deposition has reached an output power in excess of 7 W, with a slope efficiency of 38%, end-pumped by a diode bar.
