“…The removal of arsenic by the formation of an outer sphere complex, the formation of an inner sphere complex, or surface precipitation has been reported recently. The maximum removal of As(III) by copper-impregnated coconut husk carbon has also been reported recently at the pH ZPC of CuO (pH 12) …”

“…BB 1 indicates the presence of inorganic silicates, aluminosilicates, and clay-type materials. The associated water in such inorganic oxides gives BB 2 , whereas BB 3 is due to the presence of moisture in the samples. Some additional bands are also visible at the following wavenumbers: 455 cm -1 (AB 1 ), 790 cm -1 (AB 2 ), and 2350 cm -1 (AB 3 ). AB 1 and AB 2 may be due to the presence of silica, and AB 3 may be due to the presence of CaO. Hence, silica (SiO 2 ), alumina (Al 2 O 3 ), and CaO are present in both ARHC (Ca-0) and ARHC (Ca-2.0) .…”

“…Hydraulic Inorganic Fillers : Sugama et al., [ 111 ] tested two PPS‐based paint systems, among which one was a ZP/PPS with added hydraulic aluminum oxide‐rich calcium aluminate (ACA) filler. The rationale is that when the paint system is damaged, the Cl − and SO 4 2− anions contained in the brine react with the Ca 2+ ions liberated from the ACA, therefore forming CaCl 2 and CaSO 4 products, which are water‐soluble and thus leave behind Ca‐depleted ACA.…”

“…a The polyaminoproplysiloxane (PAPS) polymer was previously synthesized by the heat-catalyzed condensation reactions of a water-based aminopropylsilane triol (APST) precursor solution that possesses great penetrating and wicking behaviors moving readily through spaces between the fins of less than 3 mm. We then evaluated its potential as an anti-corrosion coating for the condensers [4]. With PAPS films of up to 2.2 pm thick, their excellent adherence to the surfaces of aluminum fins offered an outstanding protection against brine-caused corrosion.…”
