51‐1: Method to Suppress Tiled Display Seam Visibility

Abstract: We proposed a method to suppress seam visibility of a tiled display by combining: 1) engineered substrate and base surface optical properties; and 2) the use of microstructure cover plate made by micro‐replication technology. We, first, studied the operation conditions to achieve effective suppression of tiling seam visibility by ray‐tracing modeling.
