Abstract: A series of novel thiosemicarbazone derivatives containing 5-methoxy isatin were designed and synthesized with modification on N(4) position. Derivatives considering structure−activity relationship have been designed and synthesized by condensing thiosemicarbazide with 5-methoxy isatin.
