(5S,6R)-5-Methyl-6-phenyl-4-propyl-1,3,4-oxadiazinane-2-thione

Abstract: Key indicators: single-crystal X-ray study; T = 193 K; mean (C-C) = 0.002 Å; R factor = 0.028; wR factor = 0.076; data-to-parameter ratio = 17.0.The title molecule, C 13 H 18 N 2 OS, is an oxadiazinanthione derived from (1R,2S)-norephedrine. There are two molecules in the asymmetric. Both adopt roughly half-chair conformations; however, the 5-position carbon orients out of opposite faces of the oxadiazinanthiones plane in the two molecules. In the crystal structure, they are oriented as a dimer linked by a pai… Show more

“…Figure 3[17] is a good example of how authors can use this as a didactic tool. The buttons and check boxes on the right of this interactive figure have been constructed by the author, using the enhanced-figure toolkit, which constructs the page using HTML and Javascript snippets that the author does not see directly.…”

“…Since 2008, IUCr journals have also allowed authors to publish such interactive visualizations as an integral part of their research articles, and have provided a toolkit to allow authors unfamiliar with Jmol to use many of its powerful features [ 16 ]. Figure 3 [ 17 ] is a good example of how authors can use this as a didactic tool. The buttons and check boxes on the right of this interactive figure have been constructed by the author, using the enhanced-figure toolkit, which constructs the page using HTML and Javascript snippets that the author does not see directly.…”

“…In this case the nomenclature changes to (5S,6R)-5-methyl-6-phenyl-4-propyl-1,3,4-oxadiazinane-2-thione. 21 Using the compound in Figure 1.6 as an example, the proper nomenclature will be discussed. In this heterocycle the chirality is described by (5S,6R).…”
