Abstract:The whole molecule of the title compound, C 17 H 10 N 4 O 5 Á2H 2 O, is generated by twofold rotation symmetry and it crystallized as a dihydrate. The planes of the phthalimide moieties and the urea unit are almost normal to one another, with a dihedral angle of 78.62 (9) . In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-HÁ Á ÁO and O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional framework structure. The crystal packing also features C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds and slipped parallel -interactions [centroid-centr… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
