This is evidenced by maternal mortality and neonates mortality always still high. One way to reduce maternal mortality and neonates mortality is by early breastfeeding initiation. Many studies say that early initiation breastfeeding has great benefits to decrease neonates mortality. The intervention of early breastfeeding initiation at Antenatal class will be helping the mother receive knowledge and skill. This research is to know the influence of health education on antenatal classes with knowledge and skills of early breastfeeding initiation at Sedau Public Health Care. This research design uses Pre-experimental with approach one group pretest-posttest. The sampling technique is by purposive sampling amounted to 30 respondents. Intervention given in this research is Health education through lectures, videos, and demonstrations. Characteristic at Sedau Public Health Center which three categories are age, last education, and occupation. Most age in Sedau Public Health Center is age 20-35 years (79,8%). Last education highest is Elementary School and High School (57%). Most occupation is Housewife (66,7%). Before bringing intervention to mean is 64,67 and after bringing, intervention is 97,33. Increased knowledge of pregnant women is 32,7. Before giving intervention means of skill is 9,83 and after giving intervention is 94,33. The increase in the average pregnant women's skill is 84.5%. There’s an influence of health education on Antenatal class with knowledge and skill of early breastfeeding initiation p value=0,00 or p-value <α = 0,05. Can use demonstration media using phantom and video media in learners.

Since 2008, the instrument has been translated and validated across several languages, including Turkish, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew 9–13 . Using the PIKQ survey, Shah et al 8 discovered that White women may have greater UI knowledge compared with nonwhite women ( P = 0.02), and this difference remained consistent after controlling for education and income.…”

Importance Approximately one fourth of U.S. community-dwelling women will develop a pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) within their lifetimes. Prior research has revealed that knowledge of PFD was low to moderate in the general population and lower among Black patients. Objective This study aimed to assess the proficiency of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse (POP) in self-identified African American and Afro-Caribbean adult (age ≥ 18 years) female patients seeking medical care in our ambulatory setting. Study Design In this cross-sectional study, we administered the Prolapse and Incontinence Knowledge Questionnaire to patients in primary care and gynecology ambulatory settings at an academic medical center in Central Brooklyn. We used a multivariable Poisson regression model to find characteristics of the participants that are associated with proficiency in Prolapse and Incontinence Knowledge Questionnaire domains. Results A total of 266 survey participants self-identified as African American or Afro-Caribbean. Overall, using a multivariable model, knowledge of POP was significantly higher among African Americans than Afro-Caribbeans, and 75.5% of our patients reported that they would seek information on urinary incontinence and POP from a medical provider (gynecologist or primary care doctor) compared with other alternatives (eg, internet, 19.6%). Conclusions These findings highlight subgroups that could benefit from provider-initiated education regarding PFD. Furthermore, although Black patients are often homogenized in research studies, differences may exist within subgroups likely because of varying interplays of structural racism and other social determinants of health, which may serve as an area of future research.
