“…47 Additionally, xerogels were obtained by drying under reduced pressure. 48 Detection Method of Metal Ions. Supramolecular AIE gel PMDP-G was prepared by dissolving host PM (0.02 g) and guest DP (0.02 g) in cyclohexanol solution (0.2 mL), and the temperature is not lower than 58 °C followed by cooling to room temperature.…”

“…The spectra of modified TiO 2 NPs with methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MAPTMS) (Figure 2b) exhibited a band in the region of 1715 cm −1 which was assigned to the ester functional groups of MAPTMS. The successful synthesis of 1-(2hydroxyethyl)3-(4-nitro-phenyl)thioureido (Figure 1c) was confirmed with the appearance of bands at 1322 cm −1 (C S), 43 1496, 1582 cm −1 (NO 2 ), 1636 cm −1 (CC), 2947− 2998 cm −1 ([−(CH) n −]), and 3215 cm −1 (−OH groups). The spectra of NPhM (Figure 1d) exhibited a band in the region of 1700 cm −1 that was attributed to conjugated ester group.…”

“…In the past few decades, various kinds of low-molecular-weight gelators (LMWGs) have been designed and extensively studied. They are shown to be important applications in the field of sensors, optics, energy storage, crystal engineering, and drug-controlled release. Gelators are often found serendipitously, and structural modification on the obtained gelator is an efficient and simple way to prepare novel gelators. The molecular structural variation plays an important role for tuning functions of materials, especially gels. , It is found that subtle structural changes profoundly influence the organization and properties of gel systems. There have been tremendous efforts in gelator structure modifications at different positions of the molecular structure such as π, hydrogen bonding, hydrophobic/hydrophilic groups, and ions. For example, Žinić et al have reported the structure-gelation relationship by preparing a set of isomers with variable lengths of the terminal and carboxylic acid methylene chains; Ajayaghosh et al have demonstrated the OPV-Ph to OPV-Py structural changes, which led to a new multi stimuli-responsive π-gelator; Cao and co-workers have shown the number of middle benzene units on the gelation and AIE properties .…”
