4-Methyl-N-{2-[(E)-3-oxo-3-phenylprop-1-en-1-yl]phenyl}benzenesulfonamide

Abstract: Key indicators: single-crystal X-ray study; T = 200 K; mean (C-C) = 0.004 Å; R factor = 0.057; wR factor = 0.154; data-to-parameter ratio = 18.7.In the title compound, C 22 H 19 NO 3 S, the terminal phenyl and methylphenyl rings are twisted by 37.35 (12) and 49.08 (13) , respectively, to the central benzene ring. In the crystal, molecules are linked by classical N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds and weak C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional supramolecular network. Related literature
