“…Compared with the other two types of materials, battery-type materials have higher capacity and energy density for the fast redox reactions on the surface coupled with those in the bulk, and they have accordingly become the focus of research. Currently, battery-type materials are mainly transition metal-based compounds, such as Co 3 O 4 , , Ni­(OH) 2 , , NiMoO 4 , , NiCo 2 O 4 , , and NiCo 2 S 4 . , Among these candidates, NiMoO 4 and NiCo 2 O 4 have aroused much attention because of their high theoretical capacity, adjustable morphology, and low cost. Despite the fact that NiMoO 4 and NiCo 2 O 4 have achieved remarkable development in recent years, there is still a huge gap between the actual capacity and theoretical capacity caused by the low electronic conductivity.
