#35: Safety of Early Hospital Discharge of Neutropenic Pediatric Oncology Patients After Febrile Neutropenia

Abstract: Background Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in children in Mexico. Infections are the main cause of morbidity and mortality in these patients. Febrile neutropenia (FN) constitutes an infectious emergency and early aggressive antibiotic treatment is the standard of care.
