In a study cohort of 41 patients, a 7-year-old boy was described, who developed hepatotoxicity during treatment with ethambutol, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and rifampicin for urogenital tuberculosis.The boy with urogenital tuberculosis started receiving antitubercular therapy with ethambutol, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and rifampicin [dosages and routes not stated]. He also underwent nephrectomy. Following nephrectomy, he developed military tuberculosis. During antitubercular therapy, he also developed hepatotoxicity [duration of treatments to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. Eventually, he succumbed to the disease (tuberculosis).
