Of the 15 studies that assessed late adverse events after the resection of EA, 6 found a late adverse events rate ranging between 0% and 5% [ 25 , 26 , 29 , 33 , 36 ], 2 found between 5% and 10% [ 24 , 35 ], 6 between 10% and 20% [ 27 , 28 , 34 , 37 , 40 , 41 ], while 1 reported a 60% late adverse events rate [ 38 ].
