Abstract:Acetaminophen (N-acetyl-p-aminophenol, APAP) use in the neonatal intensive care unit is rapidly increasing. While APAP-related hepatotoxicity is rarely reported in the neonatal literature, other end-organ toxicity can occur with toxic exposures.
