Initial piggyback technique facilitates late liver retransplantation – a retrospective monocentric study

Abstract: Optimal management of inferior vena cava (IVC) is crucial to ensure safety in late liver retransplantation (ReLT). The aim of this study was to evaluate different surgical strategies with regard to IVC in late ReLT.
