Effect of continuous nursing on angina attack and quality of life in patients with coronary artery disease

Abstract: Background: Coronary Artery Disease is an ischemic or necrotic heart disease caused by myocardial hypoxia caused by coronary artery stenosis or occlusion. The main symptoms are heart failure and recurrent angina pectoris. Continuous nursing refers to the nursing mode from in-hospital nursing to out-of-hospital nursing, including guiding patients’ follow-up treatment and lifestyle, which can effectively improve the quality of life in patients with Coronary Artery Disease and reduce the number of an… Show more

“…In our research, markedly better disease control was observed in OG, indicating that informationbased continuous care has a significant impact on the disease control of elderly DM patients. In the report on the application of information-based continuous nursing in patients with coronary heart disease, Zhou et al [18] indicated that this nursing method can effectively reduce the risk of disease under exposure to various risk factors and avoid disease recurrence and deterioration, which is consistent with the results of disease control in this study. en, we detected GLM indicators in both groups of patients.…”

“…At present, one of the main treatment methods of CAD is percutaneous coronary angioplasty (PCI), that is, percutaneous coronary intervention, which refers to the transcatheter and stent with balloon dilator sent to the narrow coronary artery through the femoral artery or radial artery, in order to dredge the narrow or blocked coronary artery lumen and then enhance myocardial blood perfusion [ 5 ]. Studies have indicated that PCI has the characteristics of less trauma, short operation time, and rapid recovery, which can effectively reduce the mortality of patients and is currently recognized as one of the effective means of revascularization when treating CAD [ 6 , 7 ]. However, although many clinical trials have confirmed the effectiveness of PCI in the treatment of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, PCI also has some limitations.…”

“…4,5 Angina pectoris and myocardial infarction are two diseases commonly associated with atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries. 6 Lipids play an important role in atherosclerosis, and an increase in cholesterol levels is associated with accelerated disease progression. Elevated triglycerides may also be an independent risk factor for CAD, especially in women.…”
