Highlight It is the first systematic review with meta-analysis assessing circulating tumor DNA as a prognostic biomarker for melanoma. Complicated and comprehensive time-to-event data had been used to perform analyses. The results showed useful tool of ctDNA detection at baseline and during follow-up, and the promising and more generally, the effectiveness of liquid biopsy. Stress the relationship between ctDNA and gene mutation.
