“…We found that although there existed individual differences in saliva samples between patients, the UA concentration in saliva and blood was positively correlated (Pearson’ r = 0.6927, adjusted R 2 = 0.4509), and for the same sample, the blood UA concentration was higher than that in saliva, as indicated by the positive intercept (Figure a).
