Abstract: Ultrasound is the diagnostic modality of choice in the evaluation of testicular lesions. The sonographic findings and the use of the color Doppler about certain testicular lesions, with a thorough history and physical examination helps to make a correct diagnosis of benign lesions, avoiding surgery. The authors summarize the most common clinical, pathologic and the main diagnostic features of nontumoral testicular lesions with a review of the literature.
