Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has a variety of both intestinal and extraintestinal manifestations. Among the range of extraintestinal manifestations of IBD, venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a rare complication with high morbidity and mortality.
