Influence of native catfish mucus on Flavobacterium columnare growth and proteolytic activity

Abstract: Flavobacterium columnare causes columnaris disease of farmed and wild freshwater fish. Skin mucus is an important factor in early stages of columnaris pathogenesis, albeit little studied.
