29.2: Distinguished Student Paper: Tunable Polymer Localized Liquid Crystal Lenses for Autostereoscopic 3D Displays

Abstract: In this paper, we demonstrate a polymer localized liquid crystal (PLLC) lens for autostereoscopic 3D application. The no-voltage focal length of a PLLC lens is set by the polymerization conditions, but can be varied by the application of a voltage which is promising for tracking the viewer position.
