Emergent endovascular repair for PTA-induced venous rupture in a nonagenarian dialysis patient

Abstract: A percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA)-induced venous rupture is an unfavorable adverse event on treatment for vascular access failure, which might lead to a catastrophic bleeding regardless of prolonged balloon tamponade or manual compression (1).
