“…9 The recurrence rate of Hp infection one year after the eradication in urban population in China is relatively low, only 1.75%. 11 This study showed that the 1-year recurrence rate in Children in this region was as high as 20.8%, which was considered to be correlated to the young age for Helicobacter Pylori Infection-related Gastritis in Paediatric patients all patients enrolled in this study were children and the relatively backward economy in this region.…”

“…Any re-exposure of H pylori will cause recurrence. Zhou et al [22] discovered that exposure to H pylori infectors, peptic ulcer, and hospitalization were its risk factors. In China, the annual H pylori reinfection rate was 1.5% per person-year and independently associated with the following risk factors: minority groups, the education at lower levels, a family history of gastric cancer, and the residence located in Western and Centra China [14] …”

“…The risk of infection is significantly elevated in case of gastrooesophageal reflux disease in the infected partner (OR 4.41) [86]. Studies from Asia demonstrate increased relapse rates in patients where another member of the household was infected with H. pylori (OR 4.231) and reduced relapse rates if all members of the household received eradication therapy (6.08 % vs. 0.96 %) [87,88].…”
