Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Bariatric surgery is one of the most commonly performed surgeries in the US. Several types exist including vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG), adjustable gastric banding (AGB), and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB).
